The guide for registering for Ragnarok 105 V.4

So we are doing things a bit different for 2011. We will still have you send a postcard with your name, age, gender, email and any other information you would like us to know about you. We will take all postcard with a post date from November 25th - December 25th, from there we will put all of you in a hat and draw 105 cards. Now all you Rag finishers are thinking, not fair, well it will be a bit weighted. For example if you have started and finished all three additions you have a good chance you will be drawn within the first few cards. We will be pretty strict on our weighting just to be fair to newcomers. For all of you that have signed up previously, got in, and didn't show, you better start begging now!

Recap:

Postcard; Name, Age, Date, Email, send to Ragnarok 105/ 1079 Putnam Ave, Red Wing, MN 55066

Dates open; November 25th - December 25th

Number of riders accepted; 105

Good Luck

If I were in your shoes, as a promoter, anyone who blew you off previously, s--- can their cards. They don't deserve your time.

I agree with Juicy Peach (jp), if they took a spot and blew it off then toss their card. If they did it once, they will do it again. Now, I also say that the any previous winners should automatically get in and have the power to remove anyone from Duluth in the race.

I forgive easy when bribed. So for any ditchers out there, you better have something good.

Winners still have to be drawn out of the hat. You will probably just be conveniently placed on the top and picked with my eyes open, but that's all the power previous winners will have.

To clarify... if you've been signed up but let us know that you couldn't make it then no begging is required. Or records honestly aren't that great so odds are you won't have anything other than your luck to worry about.

Regardless get out and ride those gravel roads (wearing blaze orange!)!

I've done this sort of thing before and I would caution you to be prepared to receive 100's of cards from one individual(s) Yes....people are crazy like that if they think it will increase their chances to get in your event.

Thanks GuitarTed! That slipped my mind. I will address that.

FYI, the 25th is Thanksgiving and the USPS is closed. No postmark action will be happening then...
